This website is the headquarters for Vegas Vegan Drinks. Vegas Vegan Drinks is a subset of Vegas Veg, a social group for vegetarians, vegans, veg-curious, & veg-friendly folks.

Vegas Vegan Drinks was inspired by Vegan Drinks in NYC. There, you can find information about the Vegan Drinks in other cities and some tips on how to organize your own Vegan Drinks in another city.
Vegans, Vegetarians, and Veg-Friendlies Like To Drink
Vegas Vegan Drinks is a monthly social networking* event for people interested in veganism and animal advocacy.
Vegas Vegan Drinks’ purpose: bring together a diverse group of people—from vegan cupcake aficionados to animal lawyers to veg*ns in between. We hope to help build new friendships, coalitions and, share resources.
Vegas Vegan Drinks is for newbies and oldies. All we expect is an interest in animal rights, veganism and the pursuit of after-work fun. Show up and introduce yourself, pass around business cards (if you've got ‘em) and embarrass yourself at least once an hour.
*Although we think love is grand, Vegas Vegan Drinks is not a singles’ event. But, if you happen to meet the love of your life at Vegas Vegan Drinks, don't forget to invite us to the Elvis-themed drive-through wedding!

What to do?
- Be friendly! Smile! Introduce yourself!
- Promote! If you're representing an animal organization or veg-friendly business, talk up the organization and the work you've been involved in. If you're representing you, talk up your vegan and AR interests, your favorite restaurant, your dream job for animals, your blog, etc., etc.
- Sip a drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic, we don't care!) and relax with like-minded folks for a couple of hours.
- Please be responsible. Please arrange for a designated driver or a cab.

Vegan Drinks takes place the fourth Friday of the month. The location changes, so check meetup.com/vegasveg to verify the location. It's an alcohol-based event and it's at a bar, so you have to be at least 21 years old.

There is no dress code. If you come straight from work in a uniform, we promise not to make fun of you. Entrance is usually free, but the booze is not. Remember to tip your friendly bartender!
